Having a larger selection gives me more flexibility when designing the layout and allows me to showcase a greater variety of colours, patterns and meaningful details.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eI may not need to use every piece you send. Any clothing that isn't used will be returned to you with your completed quilt.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eIf you only have a limited amount of clothing, please reach out. We can discuss what you have and determine what size and design may be possible.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3 dir=\"auto\"\u003eChoosing Your Clothing\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBest clothing and fabrics include:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eClothing with printed or embroidered designs, T-shirts, dress shirts, light sweaters, onesies, pajamas, hospital blankets, burp cloths, and items made from cotton, polyester or fleece.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePlease avoid:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eKnitted or crocheted items, very thick materials such as heavy jackets or denim unless discussed beforehand, delicate or sheer fabrics that may tear easily, and items with excessive beading, sequins or embellishments.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eItems where the main design falls directly over a zipper or seam may also be more difficult to incorporate.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eIf you're unsure whether a particular item can be used, send me a photo and we can discuss it before you send your clothing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3 dir=\"auto\"\u003eYour Quilt Design\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eYour clothing will be thoughtfully arranged to create a cohesive, one-of-a-kind quilt while highlighting the patterns and details that make your pieces special.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eIf there are particular pieces, prints, logos, embroidered details or other elements that are especially important to you, please let me know. I'll do my best to feature them prominently within the design.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3 dir=\"auto\"\u003eBacking \u0026amp; Border Fabric\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eYou \u003cstrong\u003edo not need to provide fabric for the backing or border of your quilt\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eI will provide both.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eThe \u003cstrong\u003eback of your quilt will be made from one solid piece of fabric\u003c\/strong\u003e, rather than pieced together from your clothing. The border will also be created using coordinating fabric that I provide.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eI'll select fabric that complements the clothing and overall design of your quilt.
