Hi, I’m Vee, the hands and heart behind Sew Loved by Vee. I’m a professional pilot, an ultrarunner, a lifelong creative, and most importantly, a mom to two beautiful little boys who keep me busy, fill our home with laughter and chaos, and seem to outgrow their clothes far too quickly.
My journey to motherhood shaped so much of who I am and how deeply I value the memories we make along the way. It began with an IVF journey filled with hope, waiting, and uncertainty. Along the way, we experienced a heartbreaking loss that made the baby we longed for feel even further away. Then came our beautiful rainbow baby, bringing so much joy after such a difficult road.
We thought we knew what growing our family would look like after everything it had taken to become parents, but life had one more beautiful surprise waiting for us. Our second little boy came to us completely unexpectedly, without IVF. Our little miracle made us a family of five, alongside his big brother and our much-loved furry Golden Doodle. Our second son reminded me that some of the most precious parts of our story are the ones we never could have planned.
Those experiences changed the way I look at memories and the things we hold onto. They taught me how much meaning can live in the smallest things and just how precious each chapter of our lives can be.
Now, as I watch my boys grow, I’m constantly reminded of how quickly it all goes. The tiny sleepers, favourite outfits, and clothes worn for special moments, eventually stop fitting. Yet the memories attached to them never do. Something that once seemed like just a little onesie can suddenly hold an entire season of your life.
That feeling is at the heart of Sew Loved by Vee.
When I’m not flying, running trails, or chasing after my boys, you’ll often find me behind my sewing machine, turning meaningful clothing into keepsakes that can be held close for years to come.
Whether I’m working with clothing from someone deeply missed, a baby’s first outfits, or pieces that represent a special chapter in someone’s life, I understand that what I’ve been trusted with is irreplaceable. Every keepsake is made by hand, one at a time, with the same care and attention I would want someone to give my own most treasured pieces.
Sew Loved by Vee is about so much more than sewing. It’s about giving meaningful clothing a new life and creating something tangible from the people, moments, and memories woven into it.
