Every Sew Loved by Vee keepsake is handmade just for you using clothing that holds special meaning. Because each piece is completely custom and made from your personal items, returns and exchanges are not accepted.
If Something Isn’t Right
Your keepsake is meant to be something you love and feel proud to display or hold onto. If you receive your order and have a concern about the workmanship, please reach out to me.
Handmade items will naturally have small variations, and the final appearance of your keepsake will depend on the fabrics, clothing, patterns, and materials provided. These little differences are part of what makes each piece truly one of a kind.
That said, if I’ve made an error or there is an issue with the construction of your keepsake, I want the opportunity to make it right.
Repairs
I stand behind the keepsakes I create. If your keepsake needs a repair due to an issue with my workmanship, please contact me with a description and photos of the concern. I’ll work with you to determine the best way to repair it.
Repairs needed as a result of normal wear, accidental damage, improper care, pets, or other damage that occurs after your keepsake has been received may still be possible. Depending on the repair required, there may be a fee as well as shipping costs.
Because every keepsake is unique, some repairs may be limited by the amount of original fabric remaining or the condition of the materials.
Changes After Completion
Once a custom keepsake has been completed, major design changes generally cannot be made. Cutting and transforming your clothing is permanent, so I encourage you to share any important requests or preferences with me before I begin your order.
If you have a concern once you receive your keepsake, please still reach out. I would always rather have the opportunity to talk with you and see what can be done.
Shipping for Repairs
If an item needs to be returned to me for an approved repair, I’ll provide instructions before you send it. Please do not mail a keepsake back without contacting me first.
Shipping responsibility and costs will depend on the reason for the repair. If the repair is required because of an error or workmanship issue on my end, I’ll work with you to make it right.

Loss, Damage & Shipping Disclaimer
Sew Loved by Vee takes great care when handling all customer-provided clothing, materials, and completed keepsakes. However, by providing materials to Sew Loved by Vee, the customer acknowledges and accepts the inherent risks associated with shipping, handling, and circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Sew Loved by Vee is not responsible or liable for any loss, theft, damage, delay, misdelivery, or destruction of clothing, materials, completed products, or other property while in the possession or control of a shipping carrier or postal service, whether being shipped to or from Sew Loved by Vee.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that packages sent to Sew Loved by Vee are appropriately packaged, addressed, and, where desired, insured or tracked. Once a completed order has been transferred to the applicable shipping carrier, responsibility for loss or damage occurring during transit rests with the carrier, subject to the carrier's applicable terms and any insurance coverage purchased.
Sew Loved by Vee will also not be liable for loss of or damage to customer-provided clothing, materials, completed keepsakes, or other property resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to fire, flood, severe weather, natural disaster, power failure, theft, accident, emergency, government action, or other force majeure events.
Customers acknowledge that clothing and other materials provided to Sew Loved by Vee may have significant sentimental or emotional value that cannot be replaced or objectively assigned a monetary value. In the event that Sew Loved by Vee is legally responsible for the loss of or damage to customer-provided materials or a completed keepsake, any reimbursement or compensation will be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the applicable product or service. No additional compensation will be provided for sentimental, emotional, perceived, or replacement value of the clothing or materials provided.
Customers should therefore carefully consider which items they choose to provide and should not send irreplaceable or exceptionally valuable items unless they are willing to accept the inherent risk of loss or damage.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sew Loved by Vee's total liability arising from the loss of or damage to customer-provided materials or completed products will not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the applicable product or service, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
