How it Works

Turn meaningful clothing into a keepsake made to last.

Whether you're preserving your baby's tiniest clothes, remembering someone you love, or holding onto pieces connected to a meaningful chapter of life, I transform your special clothing into a one-of-a-kind keepsake, handmade with heart.

1. Choose Your Keepsake

Browse my collection and choose the keepsake or keepsakes you'd like me to create.

Each product page includes its clothing requirements, available options, sizing, and other product-specific information.

Make it yours:
Baby and adult clothing and fabrics are welcome, and custom embroidery is available on select keepsakes. Bears and elephants can also be weighted to your baby's birth weight for an extra-special reminder of just how little they once were.

Have an idea you don't see listed? Reach out! I'm always happy to discuss custom requests and see what we can create together.

2. Gather Your Clothing

Choose the special pieces you'd like incorporated into your keepsake.

Clothing requirements vary depending on the item you choose, so check the individual product page before deciding what to send.

T-shirts, dress shirts, light sweaters, onesies, pajamas, hospital blankets, burp cloths, and many cotton, polyester, and fleece fabrics work beautifully.

If there is a particular print, embroidered detail, pocket, logo, piece of clothing, or other feature that is especially meaningful to you, let me know. You can also request that certain pieces be used in particular areas of your keepsake. I'll honour these requests whenever the fabric and construction allow.

Don't think you have enough clothing?

Please reach out before ruling out a keepsake. Depending on the item and fabric available, I may be able to work with much less than the recommended amount.

3. Send It to Me

Once your order is confirmed, it's time to get your clothing to me.

Local drop-off and shipping are both available.

If you're shipping your clothing, you'll receive my mailing information with your confirmed order. The buyer is responsible for the cost of sending clothing to me.

Please only send clothing that you are comfortable having cut and transformed. Once fabric has been cut, it cannot be restored to its original condition.

4. I Create It

This is where your clothing becomes something new.

Every keepsake is individually designed around the pieces you provide. I'll carefully choose how fabrics, patterns, colours, prints, embroidery, and other special details are placed to create the best finished piece possible while preserving the details that matter most to you.

Because every keepsake is handmade from different clothing and fabrics, no two will ever be exactly alike.

I'll Keep You Updated

I understand that the clothing you send can be incredibly sentimental and sometimes irreplaceable. I want you to know where it is throughout the process.

I'll let you know when:

  • Your clothing has arrived
  • I begin working on your keepsake
  • Your keepsake reaches its final stages
  • Your order is complete and ready for pickup or shipping

My typical turnaround time is 2–4 weeks after I receive your clothing, unless otherwise stated on the individual product page.

If you need your keepsake by a particular date, please contact me before ordering. Rush orders may be possible depending on my current workload.

5. Treasure It Forever

Once complete, your finished keepsake and any unused clothing will be packaged up and returned to you, ready to treasure yourself or give as a meaningful gift.

Local orders can be picked up, or your completed keepsake can be shipped back to you.

Some clothing is simply too meaningful to tuck away in a box. From the little outfits that remind you just how small they once were to the familiar clothing of someone deeply missed, I transform those treasured pieces into keepsakes you can hold onto for years to come.

What Happens to the Rest of My Clothing?

I may not need to use every item you send. Any unused clothing will be returned to you with your completed keepsake.

Small scraps from clothing that has been cut and used will be discarded unless you request their return before your keepsake is completed.

If you're ordering multiple products, suitable leftover fabric may also be used for additional keepsakes or add-ons.
