Reversible Baby Slippers

Transform meaningful clothing into a tiny, wearable keepsake with a pair of handmade reversible baby slippers. Each pair is created from your loved one’s or baby's clothing, giving special fabrics a new life while creating something your little one can wear.

With a reversible design, you can showcase two different fabrics or looks in one pair of slippers.

Sizes

Baby slippers are available in:

• 0–3 months
• 3–6 months
• 6–9 months
• 9–12 months
• 12–18 months
• 18–24 months

Because each pair is handmade using different fabrics and materials, the finished fit may vary slightly.

Clothing Needed

I recommend providing at least 2 articles of clothing. These can be baby or adult clothing.

Because baby slippers require relatively small pieces of fabric, they're a wonderful option when you only have a limited amount of meaningful clothing available.

If you're unsure whether the clothing you have will provide enough usable fabric, please send me a photo and I'll be happy to take a look.

Choosing Your Clothing

Best clothing and fabrics include:
Clothing with printed or embroidered designs, T-shirts, dress shirts, light sweaters, onesies, pajamas, hospital blankets, burp cloths, and items made from cotton, polyester or fleece.

Smaller, repeating patterns work especially well for slippers because they allow more of the design to be visible within the smaller pieces.

Please avoid:
Knitted or crocheted items, very thick materials such as heavy jackets or denim unless discussed beforehand, delicate or sheer fabrics, and items with excessive beading, sequins or embellishments.

Items where the main design falls directly over a zipper or seam may also be difficult to incorporate.

Reversible Design

Each pair of slippers is fully reversible, giving you two looks in one little pair of keepsake slippers.

Your meaningful clothing is used on both sides, making this a great way to feature two different fabrics, patterns or pieces of clothing.

The slippers are softly filled with cushy batting for added structure and comfort, while an elasticized back helps them stay securely on little feet.

Important Safety Information

These slippers do not have non-slip or gripping material on the soles.

They are best suited for babies who are not yet walking. Extra care should be taken if they are worn by babies who are standing, cruising or walking, particularly on smooth or slippery surfaces.

Always supervise your child while wearing the slippers and inspect them regularly for signs of wear or damage.

Pricing

Pricing varies depending on the size selected. Your final price will be confirmed with your order.

Turnaround

Your slippers are typically completed within 2–4 weeks after I receive your clothing.
